Download drivers using sonyvaiodriver.com and a copy of ftp.vaio-link.com + others

Introduction

Sony decided to remove all their drivers for Windows 7 and older, so that downloading them from the original website is impossible.

However, simply by using two websites, you can find many of them in few seconds.

We are not affiliated in any way with them, and we don't take responsibilities on the problems you may find using these websites.

The information we are using must be considered as valid at the moment of the writing of this guide.

We take as an example the research of NVIDIA graphics driver for a Vaio VPCZ11X9R

The first step is to find your Vaio model. You can do that by simply watching in your PC's back for a label with the model written on it.
Now visit http://sonyvaiodriver.com/ and inside the search box write your model (in this case, VPCZ11X9R) and press "GO".
You will find a list of drivers, divided by OS version. In our case, we want to download "Preinstalled Drivers and Utilities – Graphics Driver NVIDIA" under "Sony VAIO VPCZ11X9R/B Windows 7 64 bits drivers".
On the right of it, you can see that there's a link that refers to Vaio website. This is a dead link, because the drivers had been deleted from it. So just right-click on it and copy this link. In our example, ftp://ftp.vaiolink.com/PUB/VAIO/Original/Z11_Graphics_Driver_NVIDIA.zip
Now, paste it your broser, and simply replace "ftp://" with "https://dose.0wnz.at/" and press enter.
You are now downloading your requested driver.
